DETROIT MICHIGAN TRUCKING ASSOCIATION

The Detroit Used Truck Center hosted the Michigan Trucking Association January meeting with trainer Al Hertzog presenting. There were approximately 65 attendees made up of fleet customers and individual owners along with suppliers and vendors. Al presented the features/benefits of the N13 engine and ProStar model.

USED TRUCK ASSOCIATION

On November 1st, 2017, International Used Trucks attended the 18th Annual UTA Convention. On display was an ISX-powered ProStar and an N13 show engine.

St. IGNACE TRUCK SHOW

 

On September 15, 2017, Brad Paris, Robert McLaughlin and Dan Tobin, Detroit UTC attended the 22nd Annual Richard Crane Memorial Truck Show in St. Ignace, Michigan. The show had over 100,000 attendees, approximately 500 trucks on display, with 175 show trucks with customized cabs, paint and neon light displays.

Philadelphia Used Truck Center AIDS IN HURRICANE RELIEF

 

On September 28th, 2017, Roberto Cabrera, Philadelphia UTC sold International trucks to companies helping with delivering goods for victims of hurricane Irma.

Customer Appreciation Event

 

On Thursday, September 7th, the International Used Truck Organization hosted a customer appreciation event across all 15 Used Truck Centers.


From a hot dog truck in Charlotte to a taco grill in Sacramento, each UTC featured their own favorite local food vendors from coast to coast; providing a unique experience at each location.


Each event had food, games and prize drawings while bringing in potential customers. In total, 650 guests, Navistar veterans, dealers and vendors came out to celebrate and view our used truck inventory.


“It was incredible to see each and every center step up as a team to plan, host and pull off this special event with customers,” said Justina Morosin, vice president, Used Truck Sales. “We received several sponsorships from local vendors and most importantly, it was a great way to stay top of mind in each market and celebrate current and future customers.”


Josh Adams, manager of the Sacramento Center, reinforced this idea following his event.


“We received a huge relationship ‘bump’ with our vendors and customers,” said Josh. “All in attendance loved the tacos and the ‘thank-you’ we gave them for attending. The impact of this on our day to day business can’t be overstated”.
