EXCLUSIONS
Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) service items, adjustments, seals, O-rings (except for A/C system), gaskets, mounted parts such as transmission pump, transmission oil cooler, PTO pump, suspension mounting brackets, hubs, wheel bearings and brake ends, failures due to abuse or lack of scheduled maintenance as outlined in the applicable Maintenance Manual or OEM manual, worn components or failures due to wear out are not covered. Progressive damage from non-warrantable failures, tightening of the fasteners, fittings, belts, hoses, hose clamps, electrical connectors, tires and brake linings which are considered to be normal maintenance are not covered. Premium charges and work not directly related to the repair or replacement of a warrantable part will not be covered. Travel expenses, road service/calls, towing, loss of revenue, customer and overtime labor, downtime, driver expenses, cost of rental equipment, loss of perishable cargo, communication charges, repair or replacement of optional items are not covered.
Failed items caused by physical damage are also not covered.
SIXTY (60) DAY PROVEN PROTECTION PLAN GUIDELINES – RETAIL
Up to a $10,000 cumulative cap of the cost of parts and labor are covered by National Truck Protection on repairs for thirty (30) days after the date of the sales invoice for the HVAC, Drivetrain, Engine, After treatment system and other items set forth on covered items. National Truck Protection will split the cost of parts and labor fifty percent – (50%/50%), up to a $10,000 cumulative cap, with customer on repairs from the thirty-first through sixtieth (31-60) days after the date of the sales invoice for the HVAC, Drivetrain, Engine, Aftertreatment system and other items set forth on covered items. No rentals; no towing coverage is included. Available on class 5-8 trucks with starting mileage < 600K miles on Class 8 trucks. Coverage up to 20,000 miles driven in the 60-day coverage period. The 1st coverage on any applicable repairs is under any active Extended Service Contract or applicable third-party warranty coverage, thereafter the coverage under these guidelines will apply.
The customer is responsible for authorizing all diagnostic charges. No repairs may begin until the Administrator has granted pre-approval.
