- Inspect rear springs, shackles, airbags and assemblies, shocks, torque arms, bushings, equalizers, axle wheel seals for leaks, slack adjusters, brake linings, drums, S-cams bushings, U-bolts, cross members, all air hoses, valves, and brake chambers for leaks, chaffing, and securement, differentials for leaks, breather condition, fluid levels, drive lines, U-joints, and carrier bearing for end play, fuel tanks, mounts, valves and all fuel lines, DEF tank, fuel tank, mounts, valves, DEF lines, fuel pump, lines, wiring, aftertreatment device assembly for any leaks and dents, securement, discoloration, or soot, transmissions for leaks and fluid level, condition of tanks, brackets, mounts, pull cables, air dryer, water / oil mixture in blowby tube or crankcase breather, oil pan gasket, front and rear crankshaft seals for leaks, engine mounts for deterioration and looseness, front suspension, including shocks, spring shackles, bolts, and bushings, torque transmission fill plugs
- Change oil and replace oil filter
- Inspect 5th wheel for damage, grease and adjust jaws, lubricate air cylinder
- Inspect steer axle hub oil level, lube condition, and for leaks.
- Grease steering column, steering gear box, kingpins, spring shackles, tie rod ends, drag link, pitman arm, u-joints until bearing caps purge, s-cams, slack adjusters and throw-out bearing.
- Replace fuel filter and prime system.
- Inspect operation of fuel / water separator, cooling system, coolant hoses for chaffing, clutch reservoir fluid level, HVAC hoses, lines, compressor, condenser, and mounting brackets, starter and alternator connections, cable routing and securement, radiator core, water pump, fan hub, belt condition, and belt tensioner, air filter restriction gauge, exhaust system, turbo wastegate, variable nozzle turbine (VNT) actuator, and linkage, battery box, hold downs, door latches, kick plate magnets, mounts, cable connections, disconnect switch, and fuse junction block, battery date code and cable connections
- Check coolant level and freeze protection with refractometer, tire air pressure and tread depth, all
fluids and fluid levels under the hood - Check tires and torque lug nuts
