BELTWAY COMPANIES RAISES OVER $125,000 FOR TWELVE LOCAL CHARITIES

BALTIMORE, MD, January 26, 2024 – Beltway Companies, the leading provider of transportation services in the Mid-Atlantic region, proudly announces its extraordinary achievement in raising over $125,000 to support Twelve local charities. This remarkable accomplishment was made possible through a year-long series of fundraisers, culminating with the success of the 11th annual Charity Golf Outing, which attracted more than 100 participants, including customers, vendors, employees, and representatives from sponsored charities. The event concluded with a dinner and silent auction, allowing our guests to hear directly from our charity representatives.

“At Beltway Companies, Community Involvement is one of our core values and is an integral part of our identity,” said Jack Saum, CEO of Beltway Companies. With that in mind, each of the charities represented in 2023 were selected by our employees who have a relationship with each organization.

The twelve charities proudly supported by Beltway Companies are:

  11. Wigs for Kids
  12. Wreaths Across America

CEO Jack Saum also stated, “Our partnership with charities extends beyond monetary contributions. We are committed to connecting with these organizations and effecting real change. This commitment includes inviting representatives from these organizations to our events, allowing them to share their missions.”

Creative employee-led initiatives, such as a dunk tank contest featuring CEO Jack Saum and VP Kevin Saum, further underscores the company’s dedication to supporting great causes. In another recent employee-led event, Beltway employees donated their time to lay wreaths for fallen soldiers at the Baltimore National Cemetery.
