International Model Features

The International LT Series is one of our most popular options at International Used Truck Center and for great reasons. They are one of the most dependable long-haul trucks on the market. They have driver-friendly features, come in several distinct cab options, and new models are now powered by a game-changing integrated powertrain called the S13.This guide covers the five International LT Series cab options so you can decide which one fits your needs. We’ll also discuss the LT Series trim levels for your company in and beyond.

International LT Series Cab Options

How long do you need to move cargo? The five International LT Series cabs have varying levels of features and lengths, depending on your needs. One of them has an all-new flip-down bunk when you need just one driver to a destination but two drivers on the next trip.

See the LT Series cabs here, all of which are on 125-inch BBC lengths:

Day Cab

Perfect for regional, local, bulk, or specialized applications, the day cab is the ideal choice for runs of 10 hours or less. They’re more aerodynamic and use less fuel. They’ll also maneuver better in tight spaces when delivering into cramped urban centers. These LT Series cabs also work well for freight yard operations, intermodal areas, and warehouse lots.

56-Inch Low Roof Sleeper

Of the LT Series cab options, the 56-inch low-roof sleeper offers a single bunk for one driver and plenty of amenities inside for long hauls. Look for two overhead storage compartments for luggage, easy-to-clean vinyl surfaces, and more.

56-Inch Hi-Rise Sleeper

One of our most popular LT Series cabs! This one balances the need for more space with only one bunk. You’ll find up to four compartments with netting to keep your items safe and secure during your travels. The aerodynamic roof helps you to conserve fuel.

73-Inch Sky-Rise Sleeper

Do you need two bunks? The two largest LT Series cab options have a lower and upper bunk for partner runs and additional space. Look for passenger-side cabinets, a refrigerator, a wardrobe, and upper storage shelves for drivers who spend a lot of time away from home. The Sky-Rise Sleeper has a window for the upper bunk.

73-Inch Hi-Rise Sleeper

The main difference between the Hi-Rise Sleeper and Sky-Rise Sleeper is the window in the upper bunk. The Hi-Rise Sleeper also comes with more storage areas for partners who take runs away from home.

International LT Series Trim Levels

Look for three basic International LT series trim levels, which are the standard configurations for 125-inch cabs. If you just need short hauls around , don’t need a lot of power, or don’t carry large amounts of tonnage, consider the 4×2 axle with only two powered wheels.

The 6×2 axle configuration has just the rear-most set of wheels with power, but you’ll have better fuel efficiency and reduce parasitic losses from the drivetrain.

If you favor more power and better handling, the 6×4 configuration is for you. It’s our most popular selection because it delivers the best results with two rear axles driven by the engine. Your fuel efficiency won’t be as great, but most truckers prefer this to maintain a better grip on the road.
